I bought this tv as a replacement for my old Vizio that broke while I was moving. I have to say that I'm not the slightest bit disappointed. The tv looks great with the slimmer frame, the picture is great as always, and the apps are wonderful. I have read reviews in the past that the apps didn't work correctly. However, I have had no issues. I was a little nervous the first day I set it up because the screen froze and I had to unplug the unit to reset it. But I haven't had any issues since. I pretty much only watch netflix on this tv and the app works as good as on any other device and the user interface is as good as the Xbox. All in all, it was a great buy for me.

Panasonic TC-L42E60 42-Inch HDTV Customer Review:
This TV is used outdoors on the patio and has very little glare, an awesome picture that after adjustment looks eerily live and the sound is decent if placed close to a reflective background surface. (Brick, wood or sheetrock, not fabric, bookshelves or in an open area) Removing the banner was a nothing, so no negative here for the 2 minutes that took. The contrast ratio and dynamic range is key to the superior picture performance. I have Sony CRT, Sony LCD and Samsung DLP TVs as well and this outperforms them all. Connecting to the internet via WiFi was simple and works well. The color accuracy and black pedestal is better than DLP and much better than plasma. Blu-Ray movies overcome the camera filters to rival live national new feeds for clarity. I say 'eerily' because I'm not used to the near 3D accuracy that CRT comb filters struggled to match. This is our second Viera and I honestly don't understand some of the other reviews purporting glare, cheap quality and menu hassles.

LG 42LN5300 42-Inch TV Customer Review:
I haven't had any of the problems that other people have talked about. I left the TV on for 2 weeks straight and it never shut off. The frame is fairly thin which makes the screen even look bigger, the colors are bright and the remote works really well. The sound is good as well. I initially started looking at 39" sets as they were lower cost but when I saw them at the store next to a 42" they looked to be wide and short compared to the normal look of a TV set. If you have a chance to get this set, I highly recommend it.

LG 42LA6200 42-Inch HDTV Customer Review:
The image is amazing its really good with 1080p and it has clear soap opera effect but u can turn this off if u dnt like it. Reason for the 4 stars is because it sucks for gaming. It lags even in game mode but u can adjust it so it wont lag but at that point it isnt HD anymore. I play some games with high settings that doesnt require fast input like rpg games but if u need that quick response like in fighting games or cod then u wnt enjoy in HD. Another reason is 3D, youtube works better with 3D than any movie ive watched. It was just a huge let down for me as I wanted it for my family and no one liked it other than youtube. Last reason is I noticed it has a slight DSE only noticeable with dark moments.

At the end if the day its a great tv for movies I love it I just wished it worked better with games and the 3D also.

LG 42GA6400 42-Inch HDTV Customer Review:
Before to buy this TV I bougth a samsung smart tv, I thought that the Samsung tv was the best, it was amazing.... until I check out this tv from lg.... it is far away more easy to use than the Samsung, and the apps run faster, but.... the 3d definitively is better in the Samsung... but it characteristic is not the most used, the image and the settings an the internet navigation is a superior experience in the lg, it was a surprise to me, im so satisfied to choose it.

LG 42LN5700 42-Inch HDTV Customer Review:
I did my research and decided on this LG. I was in a Taco Mac the other day and realized that all 36 TVs they had were LG! Then I read the reviews. I have had it now for 2 weeks. It replaced a Magnavox that was 3 years old. Picture just wasn't up to par. This LG is great! Super sharp picture and the Smart TV aspect is super! It's has the wireless internet, it immediately found my signal and hooked up. We watch a lot of NetFlix's movies and it's just so simple to access them!! The speakers in the set are the weak point. I thought I could hook it up to a receiver I had for my surround, nope! It is an old system and did not have the proper connection for the Set. Not a problem, I went back and purchased the LG Sound Bar with the wireless sub. WOW! It sounds better than when I had my old surround hooked up! Spend the money and get the sound bar too! You will love the combination...I do!!

LG 42LN5400 42-Inch HDTV Customer Review: 
To be fair, this is day one. Received this today, wall mounted (it uses 200x200 pattern) and connected an RCA HDTV over-the-air antenna. Could not be more pleased with the picture and various modes. It was super simple to setup and auto-program the channels. The picture is beautiful, and I'm very pleased with the built-in audio of the TV. I specifically searched for a 120Hz display and 1080p since the 720p and the 60Hz pictures looked like I was watching through a screen door. As of today, I highly recommend this TV for the quality and price.
